Ja, schon klar, dass das nicht einfach so geht. War eigentlich eher dir Frage wie kompliziert das wäre. Wahrscheinlich würde man eher Contiki mit 6LOWPAN komplett portieren und dann das SPI Protokoll von Euch implementieren. Aber das ist doch genau was ich meine. Falls meine Adresse die Masteradresse ist, dann bin ich Master. Falls meine Adresse nicht die Masteradresse ist, dann bin ich Slave. Wozu brauch ich dann noch den USB Check? Wo wir vielleicht aneinander vorbeireden ist, dass man auf dem Master die Masteradresse nicht zwingend eintragen muss, sondern nur auf den Slaves. Aber wäre das nicht besser so?

Ich habe die firmware version ausprobiert. Funktioniert bei mir mit einem USB Netzteil. Danke für die superschnelle Änderung. Aber eigentlich ist das Kriterium für Master oder Slave doch einfach ob die Adresse gleich der Masteradresse ist (extension_get_address() == extension_get_master_address()). Aber ich habe mir das nur kurz mal angesehen. Theoretisch könnte die Hardware so wie ich das sehe auch 6LoWPAN, oder?

ja, fände ich auch gut. Ich habe grade versucht meine Chibi Extensions zu testen und einfach ein USB Netzteil verwendet ... funktioniert leider nicht, wie ich hier lese ...

That's great news. I've been waiting for the Mac version. I can confirm that I can flash the bricklets without any issues on linux.

Thanks for finding the bug. Not an easy one. I can also use linux instead of Windows. I'm running it on VirutalBox on my Mac anyways ;-)

Yes, that is my assumption, too. But I tried it several times to update the bricklets. It reported the check is ok after upgrade. I have tried many combinations of bricks (master, dc, servo, all hw 1.0 and FW 1.1.1) and bricklets (piezo, distance, joystick hw 1.0) with no success. However I received a new order this week with a master brick (hw 1.1 and FW 1.1.1). I then got the piezo bricklet working by upgrading the bricklet FW. It now also works on the older master brick. I'm still stuck with the other bricklets so. Tried the same procedure with the distance bricklet, but this did not work.

I am running into problems after upgrading both my bricks and bricklets to the new firmware version. If I connect a brick without any bricklets to my computer by USB it shows up in brick viewer (reporting fw 1.1.1). If I connect a bricklet and then connect the brick to the computer the computer does NOT detect the brick on the USB bus. This all happened after the upgrade and used to work without any issues before. Any ideas?
