  1. Hello! I would need to use bricklet cables that are longer than 2 meters. Is there any way I could extend them with an adapter or connector male to male? If so, where can I get them? If not, is it possible to get some custom cable made? I would need cables that are 5 meters long. Thanks for your help! Regards
  2. Hi, I have a question regarding the bricklet cable. I'm from Canada and I was wondering if the bricklet cables were FT6 rated (FT6 are Canadian fire code standards related to the fire and smoke retardancy characteristics of communications cable). Thanks for your help! Regards
  3. I should of specify that because of this problem, I do not have any internet access. So it is kind of hard to debug... Thanks again.
  4. Hi, I have problems connecting to the wireless internet with my RED Brick. Note: I'm using the USB wifi adapter. Every time I turn on the RED Brick, three messages comes up: 1 - ``Wicd needs to access your computer's network cards. Password`` 2 - ``Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface. Check the wicd log for error messages.`` 3 - ``The wicd daemon has shut down. The UI will not function properly until it is restarted`` Its asking me for a password but the root password doesn't work so I don't know which password to use since I haven't changed any. Do you have any idea of what I could do to fix this problem? Thanks for your help.
  5. Hi, I made an application with GAMBAS which can control a meeting room schedule and I wanted to upload it to my HDMI Display (12.7cm) from TinkerForge. I guess we can say that I'm a beginner with TinkerForge and I'm not able to send my application to the screen. My HDMI display is connected to a RED Brick. I can turn on the screen without any problems, I can also access all the RED Brick OS with the SD card. Basically, the screen works perfectly. I tried connecting the RED brick to the Internet but the WiFi Extension is not compatible with the RED Brick. So I wanted to know if there's any way that I can upload my application via USB to the RED brick, or the SD card that's in the RED Brick slot. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks for your help!
  6. Hi, the HDMI cable goes from the RED brick to an HDMI display. Thank you

    Motion detector projet

Hi everyone! I'm new with Tinker Forge and was wondering if you could give me some tips to start my project. The main goal is to count how many person go in and out a room using sensors, obviously. My boss bought tones of modules such as: Distance IR Bricklet, distance Us Bricklet, Hall effect Bricklet, Motion detector Bricklet, sound intensity Bricklet and so on. I also have all the Master Bricks I need, the power modules, etc... The challenge is that we would need the sensors to ignore when the door opens so it can only count how many head are in a room. Any suggestions on how I could setup the sensors to prevent them to ignore when a door opens? Thank you very much
