    Stepper Motor > 2.5A mit stepper brick ?

    Die Frage wurde schon mal unter FAQ gestellt - aber blieb ohne Antwort. Zum Betrieb einer Z-Achse möchte ich einen 2-Phasen Schrittmotor mit 3,5A verwenden. Die Spannungsversorgung soll extern über die power supply-Buchse erfolgen. Ist das überhaupt möglich - begrenzt der stepper brick den Strom - oder zerstöre ich damit den brick ? Gibt es andere Möglichkeiten, um den stepper brick bei stromstärkeren Motoren zu verwenden ?
