MQTT fed meters have gaps in the data when MQTT auto-discovery for home assistant is switched on

Firmware: WARP4 Charger Pro, 2.13.6

An API meter fed every second via MQTT (<prefix>/meters/2/update) has no value for about 10–12 s, roughly every 15 minutes. I see it in the live data of that meter (/meters/live, the meter's live chart): the samples are empty for that period. The internal meter (meter 0) has values the whole time. The event log shows nothing at those moments.

The update messages do arrive at the broker every second without interruption. The charger is reachable on the network and keeps publishing its own topics normally.

Possible cause
Each hole starts right after the charger republishes its Home Assistant discovery messages, which happens every 15 minutes after the start of the WARP
After switching off autodiscovery the meter does not have the 10-12 sec gaps anymore.

I was troubleshooting my own automation that uses M2 to insert values, and make the regulation adapting specifically to the Belgian tariff structure. So just came across this while claude was analysing the results of my own control flow.

the hole appears on all meters fed by MQTT.
