NMEA 2000 Daten mit dem CAN-Bricklet auslesen

Hallo Leute,

 

ich würde gerne Daten aus einem Echolotgeber auslesen. Noch bekommt man den alten Standard mit NMEA 0183, bei dem die Daten über RS232/422/485 ausgegeben werden. Neuere und günstigere Geräte haben nur noch NMEA 2000, das laut Wikipedia auf einem Can-Bus-System aufbaut:

Jetzt die Idee, die Daten mit dem Can-Bus Bricklet auszulesen. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher ob das klappen wird.

 

Hat einer schon Erfahrung hierzu gemacht, bzw. kann jemand bestätigen ob ich das mit dem Can-Bus Bricklet machen kann?
