Ich hoffe das ich mit der antwort weiter helfen kann ^^ edit2: or just write it in english again, maybe i understand than your problem better
kwally Posted April 17, 2014 at 04:23 AM Author Share Posted April 17, 2014 at 04:23 AM Herewith auf english. To put it simply, does the wi-fi master extention obviate the need to connect the RPi to the ethernet separatly. i.e will it connect to the internet?. Karl
remotecontrol Posted April 17, 2014 at 05:12 AM Share Posted April 17, 2014 at 05:12 AM Hi Karl, the WIFI extension cannot be connected to the RasberryPi. It can be put ontop of a MasterBrick and your application can directly communicate with the stack without a brickd and a USB cable in between. So if your application is running on a PI, the PI must be connected to the network via Ethernet or USB wifi dongle, then you can connect to the stack which uses a wifi extension. I hope this helps. kwally Posted April 17, 2014 at 07:30 AM Author Share Posted April 17, 2014 at 07:30 AM Many thanks, I was barking up the wrong tree!! No matter, if and when the bricks/bricklets finally arrive ( I have been waiting since 31st of March) I shall find something to do with them). Looks like I will need to find a suitable USB dongle. Cheers Karl
