Hello,

 

I plan to use some Laser-Sensors outside so I want to try to make them as waterproof as possible. Therefore I bought this Epoxidharz-Spray which should be perfect for this problem. At the moment I'm not pretty shure if this will work out well because of the heat the sensor might produce. Unfortunately I have no thermometer to check this.

Did anybody already do that and has some experience or just recommandations for me?

Hi Tim,

this spray is used often when protecting PCBs/make them waterproof. That's fine for that. Of course you can't apply it onto sensors etc.
