I have a RED Brick with a Wi-Fi stick which works fine on my home network, but I can't get it to connect to eduroam in my university. Eduroam requires an identity as well as a password, and I can't enter an identity through the Brick Viewer. Is there a way to connect to eduroam, perhaps through the console?

Unfortunately you will have to do this through the console. Google only found me a German howto for it: https://www.rz.uni-osnabrueck.de/dienste/internet/wlan/eduroam/Linux/linux.htm

 

Perhaps your university does have a tutorial too?

Thanks, it worked! The only difference is that I needed to connect using wicd-curses instead of wpa-supplicant (I kept having my permission denied, even with sudo). I still had to write the wpa-supplicant.conf file, though.
