rwblinn Posted July 3, 2016 at 08:14 AM Share Posted July 3, 2016 at 08:14 AM Hi, are there any recommendations of powering a Master Brick with 4 connected Bricklets and a WiFi 2.0 extension via portable power supply, like a Power Bank? Would like to install outdoor where no line power supply is available.
Nic Posted July 4, 2016 at 11:42 AM Share Posted July 4, 2016 at 11:42 AM Well, it seems there is a lack in the product line of Tinkerforge offering suitable power supplies I remember roughly there was a discussion or an intention to create an upgraded version of current power supply in the recent past. But in the meantime maybe y could use e.g. the LiPo Rider http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Lipo_Rider_V1.1 (upto 350mA) or the Lipo Rider Pro http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Lipo_Rider_Pro (max 1A). Power consumption of each brick or bricklet is well documented e.g. http://www.tinkerforge.com/en/doc/Hardware/Bricks/Master_Brick.html
