We have been using RedBrick with a stack including Stepper Bricks for a while.  Now we want to switch to a Raspberry Pi processor for more computing resources.  The HAT looks interesting as it adds some features and provides eight bricklet ports.

The question is whether we can use the HAT and also use a brick stack.

I'm guessing if it is possible then we would need a Master Brick in the stack for communication and we would have to create two ipcon objects, one each for the HAT and the Master Brick stack.  This probably hinges on whether the brickd can handle both ipcons at the same time.

Does anyone have any insight into this?
