batti Posted January 16, 2017 at 03:43 PM Share Posted January 16, 2017 at 03:43 PM Hello Andy, we have changed the connector of the Bricklet last week. At the moment we are waiting for a prototype to confirm that our connector changes are okay. After that we will order the PCBs and plan the production. It will be available in ~8 weeks. andycruce Posted January 16, 2017 at 04:21 PM Author Share Posted January 16, 2017 at 04:21 PM Since you changed the connector on the bricklet does that mean that it will no longer be cable compatible with the old master brick? I'm hoping that I can use the existing hardware and cables to interface the GPS bricklet.
photron Posted January 16, 2017 at 04:32 PM Share Posted January 16, 2017 at 04:32 PM All Bricklets with the new 7-pin connector will continue to work with all existing Bricks. You'll only need one of the new 7-to-10 Bricklet cables to connect it.
